Father on Display
So my hard-drive crashed taking all my photos and music with it. When I decided to submit a new joint I had recorded to Iheartdilla.com I found myself with no photos to submit along with it. Being that my girl is a photographer I was in luck. I tell her to grab her camera and get a quick shot of me I can use to send off with the music.
My girl’s mom takes our daughter with her to a party, even better right? We still had my son though. He falls asleep. Great. We lie him down and try to get the shot. So as we begin he wakes up grunting and groaning, clearly very unhappy he wasn’t in the comfort of someone’s arms. Rather than wait until he fell back asleep to try to resume getting the shot, I thought, why not take it with him.
Emcees take photos in front of fancy cars, holding blunts, standing next to girls bent over with their hands on their ass, holding guns and all that. All this to promote some kind of idea of who they are and what they’re about. This is what I’m about, the future!
